No. A flicker test medical protocol, eye flicker test, or flicker test psychology / critical flicker fusion task needs calibrated lamps and clinical or lab procedures. This free flicker test is only a consumer monitor / screen flicker check for PWM and display drive.
What frequency should I use for a PWM flicker test?
Start at your panel refresh rate (60, 120, or 144 Hz), then sweep 40–240 Hz. On a monitor flicker test or flicker test monitor pass, PWM often appears as beating or banding when the test frequency approaches the backlight strobe rate. Duty cycle around 50% is a good default.
Is this an EMC flicker test or harmonics & flicker test system?
No. An EMC flicker test and a harmonics & flicker test system measure mains voltage fluctuation and Pst/Plt compliance on dedicated analyzers. This page only strobes pixels so you can see display PWM or unstable drive by eye (or phone camera).
