1. About the Service

TestMyGears delivers free, browser-based utilities for checking monitors and displays — including fullscreen solid-color screens, pixel defect inspection, screen-cleaning backgrounds, and custom-size PNG exports. The Service is offered as a helpful online resource, not as certified hardware repair, warranty evaluation, or professional color calibration.

2. Who May Use the Service

You must be 13 or older to use TestMyGears, unless a parent or guardian permits your use where local law requires it. When you access the Service for a business or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

3. Fair Use Rules

You may browse, test displays, and download files in a normal, manual way. You must not use the Service to:

• Attack, overload, or degrade website performance or security
• Run automated bots that scrape pages or pull assets in bulk
• Break the law or violate another person's rights
• Probe for vulnerabilities or access restricted server areas
• Claim a partnership with TestMyGears without our approval

We may slow, block, or revoke access when activity threatens the Service or other visitors.

4. Site Content and Ownership

The TestMyGears brand, logo, page layouts, written copy, software code, and tool designs belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Using the Service does not give you ownership of any of those materials.

5. Downloaded Images and Files

PNG files and other outputs you create through our download tools are governed by our License. Casual personal and non-commercial use is allowed. Selling, mass redistributing, rehosting, or packaging files into paid offerings requires prior written consent from TestMyGears.

6. Advertising and Third-Party Services

7. Processing in Your Browser

Fullscreen colors and PNG generation happen on your device — nothing is uploaded to our servers during those actions. For details on logs, cookies, and contact data, read our Privacy Policy.

8. No Warranties

The Service is supplied "as is" and "as available" without guarantees of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, flawless color accuracy on every panel, or compatibility with every browser, GPU, or display. Adjust brightness to a comfortable level and follow safe cleaning practices for your equipment.

9. Liability Limits

Where the law allows, TestMyGears is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify tools, pages, or these Terms at any time. Updates take effect when posted here with a new revision date. Continued use after an update counts as acceptance of the revised Terms.
