You may open and use any interactive screen tool on TestMyGears at no cost for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes. No install, login, or payment is required.

Typical permitted uses include:

• Inspecting panels for dead, stuck, or bright pixels
• Viewing backlight bleed or color uniformity
• Showing a plain fill while wiping down a screen
• Adding soft fill light during video calls or streams
• Checking hues before editing photos or slides
• Setting up a distraction-free focus background

2. PNG Download Rules

When you download a PNG, TestMyGears renders a flat single-color image locally in your browser at the size you pick. These simple files — and any color samples we host on the site — follow the permissions below.

Allowed uses

• Saving copies for your own devices and offline checks
• Applying them as wallpapers on hardware you own
• Placing them in school work or internal, non-commercial documents
• Referencing a swatch in a personal creative project

Not allowed without permission

• Selling or sublicensing the files on their own
• Uploading them to stock sites, app stores, or paid file libraries
• Embedding them inside commercial software, SaaS, or subscription products
• Mirroring the files on another domain to attract traffic or earn revenue

3. Business or Large-Scale Use

Planning to use our tools, branding, or downloads in paid work, advertising, resale, or wide public distribution? Contact [email protected] first for written approval.

4. Misuse We Do Not Allow

• Automated harvesting of site assets beyond ordinary browsing
• Cloning or reverse-engineering the platform for commercial release
• Passing off TestMyGears content or branding as your own creation

5. Credit and Mention

You are not required to attribute TestMyGears for private use. If you want to mention us, something like "Display utilities by TestMyGears" is enough.

6. No Warranty

All tools and downloads come "as is" with no express or implied warranty. Colors may look different across monitors and GPUs. TestMyGears is not responsible for eye strain, cleaning damage, missed defects, or any outcome from relying on informal visual tests.
