Mouse speed test & polling rate — live Hz estimate

Polling rate (report rate) defines how frequently your mouse sends position updates. At 1000 Hz the interval is about 1 ms between reports. This test counts pointer events over a short window to estimate real-world Hz — the same quick check streamers use before trusting a new mouse or dongle.

Report interval

1000 Hz ≈ 1 ms between samples; 500 Hz ≈ 2 ms; 125 Hz ≈ 8 ms. That gap is input latency before your OS and game even process the click.

Wireless overhead
