Why OLED Needs Different Tests

OLED fails differently from LCD. Infinite contrast makes defects obvious, but static UI can wear the panel over years.

Stuck Pixels Pop on Black

Any self-lit subpixel on a pure black field is visible at a glance — prioritize the black step in dead pixel test.

Retention vs Burn-in

Retention fades in minutes or after pixel refresh. Burn-in is a permanent outline — know which you are seeing.

Never Static at Max Brightness
